"Vive La Revolution!" - Fashion Editorial

directed and photography by indie studios ‍ ‍

“‘Vive la Révolution!’ imagines revolution as body horror, turning the monster movie into a metaphor for dismantling patriarchal power. Drawing from the decadence of the French Revolution and the DIY defiance of 1970s punk, the editorial collapses history, fantasy, and rebellion into a world where transformation becomes an act of resistance. Our heroine exists between beauty and monstrosity, refusing the roles imposed upon her while embracing the power of the outsider. Through fashion, the story interrogates gender, identity, and the politics of who is feared, who is desired, and who gets to define the future.” ~ Ladygunn
