On September 2nd, 2022, after 6 years of relentless diplomacy spearheaded by Amanda Nguyen and the team at Rise, the world voted on the United Nations resolution A/76/L.80 recognizing the rights of survivors of sexual violence during peacetime. We have been documenting Amanda and the Rise’s UN journey since their first Survivors Town Hall in 2019. We were honored to document such a historic day.
